      Short version: This extension collects no data about you whatsoever. It runs entirely in your browser and never communicates with any server.
    

What this extension does

PoGo Trainer Code 2 QR scans pages on r/PokemonGoFriends for Pokémon GO friend codes (12-digit numbers) and replaces them in-place with a scannable QR code and a deep-link button, making it easier to add friends in the game.

Data we collect

We collect nothing. Specifically:

No personal information
No browsing history or page content
No friend codes or any other user data
No crash reports or analytics
No cookies or local storage

How the extension works

All processing happens locally inside your browser tab:

The extension reads the text of the current Reddit page to find friend codes.
QR codes are generated on-device using the bundled qrcode.min.js library — no data is sent to any server to generate them.
The deep links generated point to pokemon-go.onelink.me — these are standard Pokémon GO friend-add URLs. They are only opened if you click the "Add Friend" button; the extension does not automatically navigate to or load these URLs.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

Access to reddit.com/r/PokemonGoFriends/* — required to read and modify the page content so QR codes can be injected inline. The extension is not active on any other website.

No other permissions are requested or used.

Third-party services

This extension does not integrate with, send data to, or load resources from any third-party service. All code runs locally and is bundled within the extension itself.

Children's privacy

This extension does not collect data from anyone, including children. It is a passive page-enhancement tool with no user accounts, sign-in, or data submission of any kind.

Changes to this policy

If the extension is updated in a way that changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated and the version number in the extension will be incremented. You can always find the current policy at the URL where you are reading this.
